Extensive circuits in France and Switzerland
The Portes du Soleil ski area encompasses the French-Swiss border and offers an opportunity for the more experienced skier to enjoy up to 650 kms of pistes and 14 linked resorts. Portes du Soleil is also an excellent choice for a self-drive holiday, due to the main motorway network and easy access to the domain.
Experience Switzerland!
The Portes du Soleil lift pass includes access to the whole of the domain, including Switzerland! This pass offers the perfect opportunity to ski to the rustic mountain villages of Champéry, Les Crosets, Val-d'Illiez, Champoussin, Morgins and Torgon, as well as smaller areas to explore slightly off the beaten track. What's more, Switzerland offers great value, duty paid prices on alcohol, perfume and tobacco. Just remember to stock up on the Swiss Francs before you travel!
  Avoriaz   Morzine   Le Praz-de-Lys

Resort Altitude 1800 - 2466m
The traffic-free resort of Avoriaz is a purpose built village with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good for all levels of skier, with doorstep skiing also possible, we particularly recommend this resort for families. The resort is also a popular choice for snowboarders, having opened France's first fun-park in 1993. A specialist snowboard school for children is also available.
There is an excellent selection of restaurants and plenty of bars and clubs with live music.

Resort Altitude 1000 - 2466m
The peaceful village of St Jean d'Arves offers a charming atmosphere for all levels of skier. As well as the fantastic skiing on offer, other facilities include an ice rink in Corbier, cinema and dog sleigh rides. The village is quieter in the evening, with a host of restaurants and bars perfect for the family.

Resort Altitude 1200 - 2000m
Benefiting from an excellent sunshine record, Valmeinier is a quiet village especially suitable for all the family. There is also a wide range of non-skiing activities including a cinema, husky-drawn sleigh rides and micro lightning to keep all the family amused!
