airports, as shown in the table below.

Using this and the distances grid at the bottom of the page can help you to better plan your journey to your chosen resort.

By car and ferry or Eurotunnel

Why not take the self drive option to your Ski4you resort and take the ferry from Dover to Calais. Services are frequent and cost-effective, starting from just £30*. What’s more, driving to your destination has the added advantage of being able to take more equipment and luggage with you.

For an even quicker route across the channel, you may prefer to take the Eurotunnel, arriving in Calais in less than 40 minutes. Prices for this start from £40*.

Ski4you can organise either method of travel for you and will even provide you with a map and directions to help you plan your drive. We would also recommend that anyone taking either of these self-drive options purchases snow chains to aid driving in resort. We would like to add that these are often more expensive when bought abroad and therefore recommend you buy them before leaving the UK.

Car hire

For many people, a hire car and the freedom and flexibility it provides are essential to their holiday plans. When choosing a car you need to make sure you choose a model with adequate seats and luggage space for all the members of your party.
Ski4you can arrange a hire car on your behalf and our prices include many items within the basic package, such as airport collection charge and unlimited mileage.



NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE:
Child seats - request at time of booking and must be paid locally, typically around £30 per rental.
Fuel, refuelling charges, traffic and parking fines, additional services and tax on these items.
Personal Accident Insurance £13.20 per day (included if you take our holiday insurance)


Drivers must be 21* years or older and have with them a full valid driving licence held for at least 1 year. Driver’s name must be advised at the time of booking. Rentals are charged in blocks of 24 hour periods from the time of collection, if you exceed a pre-booked period you will be charged locally at the public daily rate. A credit card swipe will be taken as a security deposit on collection. A particular make or model of car cannot be guaranteed. Cars are delivered with a full tank of fuel, if not returned full there is a surcharge in addition to the cost of the fuel.
*Age restrictions apply to car groups, call for details. With normal CDW, there is an unwaiverable excess of £500 to £1,700 per rental and on theft an unwaiverable excess of £700 to £2,300 per rental, payable locally. Super CDW and STP can be purchased locally which will waiver the excess.
